Is it possible to fall in love with a character in a movie/TV show?

I’m being serious too. Not just be attracted to their looks, but seriously be in love with the character they play. To adore their personality and actions. 

I still love this song.

I just wish you really knew how much you mean to me.

&Then maybe, just maybe, everything will turn out perfectly.
